Working after graduation

The Establishment Card is initially granted for 2 years and can be extended by 1 year (3 years in total) for graduates of Danish bachelor's, master's or PhD programmes.

Non-European graduates can still stay and work in Denmark after graduating, although the rules have tightened in recent years. Danish, or another Scandinavian language, is a real advantage when competing with local applicants, so it is worth taking language classes while you study.
