Privacy policy

This policy explains what information FindMyUni collects and how we use it. If you have questions, email admissions@findmyuni.pk.

Information you give us

• Guidance requests: your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, study preferences and message, so that an adviser can respond to you.
• Accounts (optional): your email address and any profile details you add, your shortlisted programmes, saved universities, comparisons, application notes and any documents you upload.

Information stored on your device

If you use the shortlist or comparison without an account, the programmes you save are stored in your browser's local storage on your device only. Signing in stores a session token in your browser.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to guidance requests, provide your account features and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

How it is protected

Data is stored with our database provider (Supabase). Access is restricted by row-level security: guidance requests can only be read by FindMyUni administrators, and account data and documents can only be accessed by you (and administrators where needed to support you). Uploaded documents are stored privately.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing us. You can clear locally saved shortlists by clearing your browser storage.
